REBECCA PALMER

Specializing in Solo & Duo Aerial Hoop, Silks, Partner Acrobatics, Dance, & Contortion

Rebecca is an acclaimed performance artist and the 2016 Cirque Sport International USA Lyra Champion. Her unique and polished style is rooted in ballet, modern dance, gymnastics, acro yoga, circus arts and acrobatics which has been enriched by each performance, providing new inspiration and creative progression to her diverse range of acts. Rebecca’s passion for performance was sparked early on and has fueled her drive for progression and professionalism.

For over twenty years, she has cultivated a rich background in performance arts by studying stage theater, circus performance, acro yoga, ballet, modern dance, ballroom, piano and music theory, competitive springboard/platform diving, gymnastics, and figure skating. In 2011 Rebecca focused her studies on aerial and acrobatic arts perfecting performances in aerial silks, aerial hoop, lyrical dance, contortion, and partner acrobatics. 

Rebecca’s cross training allows her to deliver a wide range of roles, from lithe and ethereal to earthy and visceral. Vivid, extravagant movement and strong, multifaceted technique are her trademarks. In 2013, after graduating from the University of Portland with a Master of Business Administration, she utilized her strong work ethic, inspiring ambition, organizational skill, and passion for circus arts to found her performance company; Aerial Muse Collective.

Based in Portland Oregon where she trains and teaches, Rebecca is available for performances, entertainment and instruction both locally and internationally.
